THE DARK NIGHT SKY

Our new installation at Exelon’s visitor center is attracting record visitors

There are few tracts of land left near Philadelphia where you can find a truly dark night sky for star gazing. As it happens, one of our clients, Exelon Generation, has a place that is perfect. The Muddy Run hydrogeneration plant sits on the edge of the Susquehanna River in a beautiful 700-acre, wooded park in Holtwood, PA. The facility produces clean, sustainable energy, and Exelon’s visitor center there is dedicated to teaching about the regional environment. After two planetariums were installed for night star gazing, they asked us to help them build a fun but educational solar display for kids. It’s worth the trip!
